A wise friend once told me that the enemy operates in secrets. At the time, I didn’t understand the magnitude of that statement. However, as I thought about my life and the secrets that I’ve had, her words resonated with me. Each of my secrets had three things in common: shame, selfishness and deceit.
Dr Van Moody, The Worship Center Christian Church, put it this way, “Secret places lead to secret battles that lead to secret honey which refreshes you. Nothing is wrong with the refreshment. The sin is in the secret because it comes from the wrong place, battle and honey. Eventually, the honey that once refreshed you will begin to drain you.”
So, what do you do? Do you continue to try to maintain the secrets or do you let them go, begin the healing process, and start living abundantly? The choice is yours.
