A wise friend once told me that the enemy operates in secrets. At the time, I didn’t understand the magnitude of that statement. However, as I thought about my life and the secrets that I’ve had, her words resonated with me. Each of my secrets had three things in common: shame, selfishness and deceit.
Dr Van Moody, The Worship Center Christian Church, put it this way, “Secret places lead to secret battles that lead to secret honey which refreshes you. Nothing is wrong with the refreshment. The sin is in the secret because it comes from the wrong place, battle and honey. Eventually, the honey that once refreshed you will begin to drain you.”
So, what do you do? Do you continue to try to maintain the secrets or do you let them go, begin the healing process, and start living abundantly? The choice is yours.
…that fulfilling your purpose with passion will bring you prosperity.
I have a spirit of expectancy. I’m expecting the Lord to do some amazingly, magnificent things in my life. I understand, in order to receive those things, I must get out of my comfort zone. It is time to expand my circle. I need to surround myself with people of excellency and greatness. People who desire to grow, increase and enhance their lives. Besides, isn’t that what living abundantly all about!
So, I’m ready….I’m ready to be uncomfortable. I’m ready to have conversations that not only stimulate my mind but also leave me speechless. I ready to pull out my smartphone to take notes and look definitions of words that I haven’t used since grad school. I’m ready!
Isn’t it amazing how life can change suddenly. All you have to do is believe. If you focus on the negative, that is exactly what happens. However, if you focus on the positive, all of sudden you will notice positive things happening. You will notice how faith begins to replace fear and gratefulness will replace grief. So, it’s up to you. Are you ready for your suddenly?
Wow…I did it. I finally did it. Living Abundantly Coaching & Consulting, LLC is no longer a dream. It’s now a reality. I cannot believe the flood of emotions that I felt when I received the email stating that the Secretary of State has accepted my documents.
God is so awesome. I’m looking forward to where He takes this business. I’m looking forward to my purpose and passion bringing prosperity.
For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
It’s a New Year!!! What an exciting time to not only reflect on the lessons from last year, but to prepare for a successful, prosperous 2014. But, whose plans do you desire? Often times, we develop our own plans without considering what God has in store for us. Believe me, what He has in store for you is so much better than what you could ever imagine for yourself. So, seek Him, believe Him and watch Him blow your mind!
